For brands
A permanent place for brands that produce in Europe.
European Craftsmanship is a platform where every brand that makes its products in Europe has a page of its own in the directory. I call it a profile, and it holds what you make, where you make it, what materials you use, and a small note with a few thoughts for my readers. If your company and your production are both in Europe, you can get such a profile for free.
What you get
What is on your profile
Every brand has the same page, built the same way, whether it went up yesterday or months ago. This is what sits on it, top to bottom.
-
01
The top of the page
Your name, where you are based, an image of your products, and a link straight to your website.
-
02
Quick facts
What you make, where you are based, where you produce, who you make it for, your price range, and where you ship. What a reader wants to know before anything else.
-
03
About the brand
Who you are and what you make, written from what you publish yourself.
-
04
How you make and what you value
Where production happens and how, what your materials are and where they come from, what you do about sustainability, and what the brand stands for.
-
05
Notes from Lisa
My opinion and thoughts about your brand. It is the one part of the page that is mine rather than yours.
-
06
More things made in Europe
Links out to other brands in your categories, so readers reach you from someone else’s page too.
-
07
Sources and methodology
Every claim linked back to where it came from, pages from your own website, with the date I reviewed you.
Your profile stays at its own address. Readers reach it three ways: browsing the directory by category or country, following a link from another brand’s page, and searching for the kind of product you make via Google or AI. Once a year I go back through it and update anything that has changed.
Who finds it
The people who will read it
They are looking for things that last. A wardrobe they are not replacing every year, pieces at home that do not break quickly, clothes bought for life rather than a trend. They like good craftsmanship, and they want to know how a thing was made, often in more detail than a brand expects anyone to ask for.
More than 100.000 people follow European Craftsmanship across social media. That is where most of them meet a brand for the first time, usually because I made a video about it. A video does one job very well: it puts you in front of people who had never heard of you. It is excellent for reach, and it works fast.
Your profile is where that attention lands. It is a permanent home: people can come back to it, and save it so it is waiting for them next time. It is excellent for readers who are already interested, for being found through search engines and AI tools as well as here, and for visibility that builds rather than resets.
Criteria
What I look for
I review every brand myself, against the same criteria, before it goes on the site. Two things decide it, and I check those first.
Both your headquarters and your production have to be in Europe. If one of them is not, I do not look further. What comes after that I read from your own website, so the more openly you publish it, the more information can be found on your brand profile.
- HeadquartersWhere the company is legally based and operating.
- ProductionWhere your products are made, and where final assembly happens.
The other five
Values, materials, sustainability, transparency and social media complete the 7-point review. These shape what your profile says rather than deciding whether you are on the site.

Ways to work together
Every brand gets the same review and the same free profile. Anything beyond that buys room and my time, not a better write-up. The Verified mark opens later in 2026.
A profile
The page described above. I review your brand myself, write it up, and it goes on the platform into the brand directory. The requirements are that your company and your production are both in Europe. If I have already made a video about you, you may be in the brand directory already, so it is worth checking out. If you cannot find yourself, you can suggest your brand with the button below.
Your products alongside it
If you run an affiliate programme, meaning you pay a commission when someone buys through a link, I can place your products in several places. I will give your products pages of their own in the product directory and show a selection of products on your profile with a link to your shop. It stays free. I earn the commission when a reader buys, and I label every one of those links so readers can see it. Products can also appear in magazine articles where they fit naturally, though that is not something I can promise in advance.
The Verified mark
A mark that will be added to your profile and that you can put on your own website and use in your own marketing. It says you have confirmed on the record where you produce and where your materials come from, etc. It is not me auditing you, it is you confirming your claims on the record. Your profile gets more room, more sections and more images with it, and I will send you figures on how it is doing through the year. It will be paid monthly. It is not open yet, but you can put your name down now if you are interested and you will be among the first to hear about it.
Partnerships
A partnership is where we make something together. It could be an interview with you about why you started, or a look behind the scenes. It can run as a magazine article or as a short video.
Whatever we make together, it will be labelled so readers know how it came about.
Not sure which fits? Send me a note at info@eurocraftsmanship.com and we will work it out together.
Questions
Frequently asked
You made a video about my brand. Am I already listed?
Not necessarily. The videos and the profiles are separate pieces of work, and one does not create the other. Write in and I will tell you where your brand stands, and if it is not up yet I will add it to the backlog for review.
How do I get into a video or an article?
I choose what I make videos and articles about, and editorial coverage is not something a brand can buy. Being on the site is how I find brands to write about in the first place, so a profile is the useful thing to have.
From 2027 there will also be partnerships, where we make something together and the piece is labelled so readers know how it came about.
What counts as “made in Europe” for you?
Both your headquarters and your final production (tier 1) have to be in Europe. That is the requirement.
Materials are a separate question. Sourced in Europe is better, and I say so on the profile when they are. What matters more is whether a reader can find out where they came from at all, so publishing that counts in your favour either way.
What if my production is partly outside Europe?
Then it is not a fit. The making of the product has to happen in Europe, not part of it here and part of it elsewhere. Cutting and sewing abroad with finishing in Europe does not count.
Materials are a different matter. Those can come from outside Europe, and publishing where they come from is exactly what readers look for.
Do you list brands that do not produce in-house?
If you do not produce in-house, I need to see who does and where, and it has to be in Europe. Retailers and dropship-only labels are not a fit.
What if I am part of a larger group?
The review is the same either way. I list the brand, not the group. If a group has brands that qualify and others that do not, I list the ones that do and leave a note for my readers.
How long does it take?
I reply within 5 working days. The review itself takes longer, sometimes a few weeks when a lot is coming in. I read every message myself.
I am also working through years of my own research at the moment, so new brands go up regularly and yours may already be in there. Write in anyway and I will check where it stands.
Can I update my profile after I am listed?
Yes. If something changes, write in and I will update it. New collections, new production sites, new certifications.
Can I appeal a decision?
If the facts have changed since I said no, send the new information and I will look again. If they have not, the answer will be the same.
