Classic shoes with a cool twist
If you are looking for a classic shoe but with a cool edge, Bobbies will have a pair for you. The shoes are made in their own workshop in Santa Maria da Feira in Portugal and in family-owned partner workshops in Portugal. They have dedicated one entire page to explaining all the steps of how their shoes are made, from the cutting to the hand-painted edges. I find it really cool to get a view behind the scenes like that.
I wish they had one small section about the founders, so you get a feeling for who is behind the brand and why they started it.
I would buy the classic white sneaker, the Lana. But any Mary Jane or ankle boot looks so good that it is really tough to choose.
