“We are Silvia Brindlmayer and Dirk Pfeffer; the founders of BLUSUN. We develop barefoot shoes that feel natural, but do not look like classic barefoot shoes. Our ambition is to design shoes that allow freedom of movement and at the same time look timeless, modern, and suitable for everyday wear. The name BLUSUN is inspired by the terms "Blu"; Italian for blue; and "Sun"; English for sun. For us, this combination stands for lightness, clarity, and a feeling of freedom. We want to pass on exactly this feeling with every pair of shoes.”
