““The satnav doesn’t work there”, experienced shoemakers told her. “And you don’t speak Italian.” Nele Content set off anyway. Today, so many years later, she’s still collaborating with the family workshops in Italy that she found at that time. And she still doesn’t speak Italian. Being free to do her own thing. That’s what drives Nele Content. And she wants the same freedom for anyone who wears her shoes and bags.”
