5 European linen dresses under 170€. All 100% line 5 European linen dresses under 170€. All 100% linen. All produced in Europe.

Linen is the dress fabric I keep coming back to in summer. It breathes, it holds its shape when it’s woven well, and it gets better with every wash. The challenge is finding brands that use real linen and actually produce in Europe.
These four passed my full review:

@naz.fashion from Portugal and made in Portugal. Heavier-weight weave that holds its shape and falls beautifully. Names their manufacturer on the product page. 139€

@quintessence_marine from France and made in France. Designed, cut, and sewn in their own atelier in Roubaix. Sizes 34 to 56. 120€

@theseptlabel designed in Germany, ethically and sustainably made in Portugal. 120€

@souldazecollection from Italy and made in Italy. Handmade in their Rome atelier from rescued surplus linen. 170€

Also worth checking out
@verlinne.transylvania from Romania and made in Romania. All dresses produced in small family-run workshops, 80% made to order, premium European linen.

Save this for when you’re ready to add a linen dress to your summer wardrobe.

I found 6 European brands making cotton summer dre I found 6 European brands making cotton summer dresses above 170€, all produced in Europe.

Before I look at any product in detail, I always check the brand first.
For dresses I pay attention to mainly four things: materials, construction, lining, and transparency on the product page. Construction you can only partially check online, so you would need to order the dress to examine the seams up close. Same goes for fit, that’s up to you and your personal preferences.

@aggi_by_halewski from Poland, made in their family-run atelier in Krakow. 100% cotton, embroidered. Zoja at 184€, Lena at 240€.

@bibistudioofficial from Germany, made in Germany with fabric from Spain. 100% GOTS organic cotton, one size that fits 34 to 42, with pockets. 199€.

@baukjen from the UK, made in Portugal with 100% organic cotton poplin. Tie-waist red midi. 220€.

@mrsfrancoise from Italy, made in Italy. 100% Italian cotton and you can pick your own from their lists. Matching mother-and-child sets. La Mamma Apron at 340€.

@helenegalwas_official from Germany, made in a Polish workshop. Hand-laid pleats and hand-ripped seams. The Ina cotton wrap is 100% cotton at 503€.

@casanata.world from Germany, made in a family-owned workshop in Bavaria. 100% cotton batiste woven and dyed in Portugal. The Boatline dress at 430€.

Everyone says buy less but better. Nobody tells yo Everyone says buy less but better. Nobody tells you how.

Before I look at any dress, I check the brand first. 7 things, every time. Only brands based in Europe and producing entirely in Europe make it onto my list.

Then for dresses specifically: materials, construction, lining, and how much detail the brand actually shares on the product page. These four things tell me a bit more about what I’m paying for.

I’m starting a European summer dress series this week. Different price points, same checks. So you can see for yourself what your money gets you.

What matters most to you when buying a dress? Tell me in the comments.
